An-Nawawi Islamic Boarding School – SMP IT An-Nawawi Islamic Boarding School has officially sent one of its top students to compete in the 2026 National Student Art Festival and Competition (FLS2N) at the Bantaeng Regency level. This prestigious student competition is organized by the Bantaeng Regency Department of Education and Culture.
Based on the official circular from the Bantaeng Regency Department of Education and Culture, the series of competitions was held concurrently on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at SMPN 2 Bantaeng, commencing at 08:00 WITA.
For this year's event, SMP IT An-Nawawi Islamic Boarding School focused its representation on the storytelling category. The school’s talent and potential were represented by Naurah Defina Halyb, a gifted student ready to uphold the school's reputation at the regency level.
To ensure thorough preparation, intensive training was conducted under the direct guidance of Nurhayati, S.Pd., Gr., an Indonesian language teacher who served as the supervising mentor, overseeing Naurah's vocal technique, expressive delivery, and stage presence.
The Principal of SMP IT An-Nawawi, Mutiah Sumarno, S.Si., M.Pd., Gr., offered her full support and expressed appreciation for the high level of enthusiasm shown by both the student and her mentor throughout the competition process. The school hopes that this participation will not only serve as a platform to showcase talent but also cultivate self-confidence and a love for literature and oral traditions among the younger generation.
Following a rigorous preparation process, Naurah Defina Halyb delivered an outstanding performance, inspiring her peers to strive for excellence and successfully securing 2nd Runner-up (Harapan 2) in the competition.
