Warming Ramadan: Asar Humanity Bantaeng "Knights" Deliver Iftar Packages to An-Nawawi Islamic Boarding School Students
An-Nawawi Islamic Boarding School – The holy month of Ramadan has become a momentum for the humanitarian organization Asar Humanity to continue spreading kindness. Through its volunteers, known as the "Asar Humanity Knights," iftar meal packages were distributed directly to the students at An-Nawawi Islamic Boarding School in Pa'bumbungang, Bantaeng Regency.

This distribution is a mandate from donors—affectionately referred to as "Heroes of Kindness"—serving as a tangible expression of care for the young generation of Quran memorizers and religious seekers.

For the students at An-Nawawi, this year's iftar felt particularly special. Given that many of them must spend Ramadan away from the embrace of their families to pursue Islamic knowledge, the arrival of these iftar packages provided a significant morale boost.

"These iftar meals are a form of appreciation and affection from kind-hearted people out there for the students. We want them to know that even though they are far from home, they are not struggling alone," said a representative of the Asar Humanity Bantaeng Knights.

This program reinforces Asar Humanity’s commitment to bridging the gap between community generosity and those in need. The warmth shared at the boarding school’s dining tables that evening serves as proof that the synergy between volunteers and donors can bring smiles to the faces of future Islamic scholars.

The founder of An-Nawawi Islamic Boarding School Pa'bumbungang, H. Sumarno, expressed his deepest appreciation for the attention given by Asar Humanity and the Heroes of Kindness. It is hoped that every grain of rice and every sip of water enjoyed by the students will become a flow of Sadaqah Jariyah (ongoing charity) for all parties involved.
