LDK Al-Jami' Cadres from UIN Alauddin Makassar Hold Da’i/Da’iyah Training at An-Nawawi Islamic Boarding School Bantaeng

An-Nawawi Islamic Boarding School – Cadres from the Campus Preaching Institution (LDK) Al-Jami' at UIN Alauddin Makassar organized a Da’i (male preacher) and Da’iyah (female preacher) Training session held at the An-Nawawi Islamic Boarding School in Pa’bumbungang, Bantaeng Regency.

The event, which ran for four days from Sunday to Wednesday, February 15–18, 2026, aimed to produce young preaching cadres who are skilled, broad-minded, and capable of conveying Islamic messages effectively within society.

Throughout the event, the students (santri) received intensive guidance from experienced mentors who are cadres of LDK Al-Jami' UIN Alauddin Makassar. The material provided covered rhetoric techniques (public speaking), the drafting of preaching materials, as well as the manners and ethics of a Da’i in the digital era.

This training did not merely focus on theory but also included direct simulations and concluded with a kultum (short lecture) competition. The presence of mentors from the UIN Alauddin Makassar campus is expected to provide mental strength and new motivation for the students to continue the relay of preaching to higher levels.
