*The Leader of An Nawawi Distributes Waqf Al-Qur'an at Jami' Darul Falah Mosque Kalukku*

*An Nawawi Islamic Boarding School* - Jami' Darul Falah Mosque, Kalukku District, Mamuju Regency, West Sulawesi, became the destination for the distribution of Waqf Al-Qur'an on Sunday, October 12, 2026. The waqf was distributed directly by the Leader of An Nawawi Islamic Boarding School Pa'Bumbungang Bantaeng as a form of devotion to the ummah.

This waqf program targeted the congregation of Jami' Darul Falah Mosque who have been experiencing a shortage of readable copies of the Al-Qur'an. Dozens of new mushafs were handed over directly to the mosque management to be used by the congregation in worship activities and regular study circles.

The Chairman of Jami' Darul Falah Mosque Management welcomed the arrival of the Leader of An Nawawi. He stated that most of the Al-Qur'an in the mosque were old and torn. This assistance, according to him, greatly helps the congregation to be more solemn in reading the Al-Qur'an.

In his speech, the Leader of An Nawawi emphasized that this activity is not just about distributing mushafs, but is an effort to revive the love for the Al-Qur'an among the community. He also reminded of the virtue of the Al-Qur'an as a guide for Muslim life.

The Leader of An Nawawi quoted the saying of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, "The best of you are those who learn the Qur'an and teach it." The hadith serves as a reminder for all congregants not only to receive the waqf, but also to read it and teach it.

The symbolic handover ceremony was held inside the mosque after the congregational prayer. The mushafs were handed over directly by the Leader of An Nawawi to the mosque management and representatives of the congregation solemnly.

In addition to handing over the Al-Qur'an, the Leader of An Nawawi also motivated the congregation about the importance of maintaining etiquette towards the Al-Qur'an and getting used to reading it every day, even if only a few verses.

One of the congregants, Mrs. Salmah, expressed her gratitude for the assistance. She admitted that her old mushaf was damaged and difficult to read. With this waqf, she feels more enthusiastic to participate in recitation activities at the mosque.

The Leader of An Nawawi hopes that the waqf distributed at Jami' Darul Falah Mosque will become a jariyah charity whose reward continues to flow. He also hopes that the relationship between An Nawawi Islamic Boarding School and the Kalukku Mamuju community will continue to be maintained.

The event was closed with a collective prayer led directly by the Leader of An Nawawi, praying that every letter of the Al-Qur'an read from this waqf will become light and blessing for both the recipients and the givers of the waqf.
