An-Nawawi Islamic Boarding School– The unyielding determination shown by the Scout contingent of SMP IT An-Nawawi Islamic Boarding School has finally borne sweet fruit. After navigating an intense and physically demanding series of competitions over five full days, from August 14 to 18, 2026, the school delegates officially concluded the event with a proud display of achievement.
Right at the closing ceremony held today, Tuesday (8/18), the SMP IT An-Nawawi Islamic Boarding School contingent was confirmed to bring home a total of three medals, consisting of two silver medals and one bronze medal.
This success was achieved through the students' remarkable performances across various competition categories that tested religious knowledge, physical agility, and teamwork:
* **2nd Place (Silver Medal) – Adhan Competition:** Showcased voice clarity, precise *makhraj* (pronunciation), and devotion that captivated the panel of judges.
* **2nd Place (Silver Medal) – Sack Race:** Demonstrated agility, nimbleness, and high focus all the way to the finish line.
* **3rd Place (Bronze Medal) – Tug of War:** Relied on solidarity, strategy, and relentless fighting spirit from all team members.
This positive achievement was warmly welcomed by the extended family of the An-Nawawi Islamic Boarding School educational institution. The Chairman of the Foundation, Dr. Abudzar Al Qifari, M.Pd.I., expressed deep appreciation for the dedication and hard work of everyone involved throughout the event.
"Jazakumullahu khairan wa barakallahu fiikum to the 3 accompanying advisors who tirelessly guided them, as well as the 23 selected students who fought extraordinarily from August 14 to 18, 2026. Thank you for your sacrifice of time, energy, and the unyielding spirit you demonstrated in the field. Winning 2 silver medals and 1 bronze medal is tangible proof of our discipline and togetherness," stated Dr. Abudzar Al Qifari, M.Pd.I., as Chairman of the Foundation.
He also added that participating in this Scouting event was not merely about chasing trophies, but served as a crucial platform to shape independent, tough, and noble-character students in accordance with Islamic values and the Scout Promise (*Dasadharma*).
With the conclusion of this event, the students are expected to bring home valuable experience and use this accomplishment as a catalyst to keep excelling in both academic and non-academic fields in the future.
