An-Nawawi Islamic Boarding School – Welcoming the 81st anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia’s Independence, a strong sense of nationalism engulfed the SMP IT An-Nawawi Islamic Boarding School campus in Bantaeng Regency, South Sulawesi. Pursuant to Assignment Letter Number 045/SMPIT/ANW-PB/BTG/VIII/2026, the school officially dispatched its finest contingent to participate in a grand scouting campsite, following up on a decree from the Eremerasa District Scout Movement Quarter.
The four-day camping event, specifically organized to commemorate the 81st Independence Day, took place from Saturday to Tuesday, August 15–18, 2026. All scouting activities were centered at the Sambang Katimbang Field Campsite in Ulugalung Village, starting daily at 08:00 AM WITA until completion.
To ensure safety, smooth execution, and discipline throughout the event, the school appointed two experienced advisors: Dr. Abudzar Al Qifari, M.Pd.I., and Nurhayati, S.Pd., Gr. These supervisors guided a selected delegation of 25 male and female students. The student contingent included Rahmat Hidayat, Adam, Putra, Takbir, Farhan Ramadhan, Andi Muh. Alghifari H., Muh. Revan Saputra, Muh. Fajri, Muh. Rahmat, Muh. Fahri Haryanto, Rei Arfan, Andini Julianti, Sahrini, Anggi Ferlita, Nur Maulidya Damayanti, Nur Alisyah, Sahrini S., Sitti Hajrah, Alifa Aura Syifana, Ananda Naura Dafina Halyb, Tri Aulia Azzahra Putri, Fitrah Rahaidatul Aisyah, and Nandia.
Participation in this event serves not merely as a showcase of scouting skills, but as a pivotal moment to instill patriotism, independence, and solidarity in the great outdoors. With thorough preparation under the educational foundation, the SMP IT An-Nawawi Islamic Boarding School contingent is expected to gain valuable experience and embody a high spirit of determination during this year's independence celebrations.
